What is PatentStroke?

PatentStroke is a patent drawing software that turns product photos and claims into USPTO-ready drawings in about a minute. It makes line art from photos and hand sketches, flowcharts from method claims and block diagrams from system descriptions, then lays the figures out on numbered sheets for export.

Will the USPTO accept these drawings?

Sheets are laid out to the USPTO drawing rules in 37 CFR 1.84, and margins, black and white, text height and numbering are checked before export. Whether drawings are accepted also depends on them showing every claimed feature correctly, so review each figure before you file.

Does it add reference numerals to line art?

Not yet. Line art comes without numbers or text so you can add your own reference numerals in any vector editor. Flowcharts and block diagrams are numbered automatically (S101, S102… and 100, 102…).

How much does it cost?

A drawing costs 10 credits and a flowchart or block diagram 5. New accounts get 30 free credits on sign-up and 10 more every day. Paid plans start at $49.9 a month for 500 credits, and credit packs start at $30 for 300 credits, valid for 12 months.

Is my invention kept confidential?

Uploads are sent to the AI model and then discarded, results are stored privately, and nothing you upload is used to train models. You can delete drawings or your account at any time. Our trust page lists each commitment and how it is carried out.

Can I edit the drawings?

Yes. Export SVG and edit it in Inkscape, Illustrator or any vector editor, or adjust the line threshold and regenerate inside PatentStroke.

Do I still need a patent attorney?

PatentStroke draws figures; it does not give legal advice or review your application. Many inventors file on their own, but an attorney or agent can help you decide what the drawings need to show.
